YA January Releases | 2018
It’s the New Year, and you know what that means…a whole new month of new YA books for our already bursting bookshelves! I’ve compiled a list of my favourite releases this month and I’ve been dying to share them with you all. They’re all in no particular order. I’ve included easy one-click links on the titles so you can add them to your Goodreads if you want to read them this month!

It’s no secret that Katie is one of my favourite YA authors of all time. Her books are everything I want in a YA romance: realism, true heart and none of that insta-love that we hate. It’s purely amazing Young Adult magic and I can’t wait to get my hands on Say You’ll Remember Me.

Dun-a-nun-a-nun, BATMAN! Okay, that’s literally what everyone is thinking, right?! I am SO. PUMPED. FOR. THIS. Marie Lu is such a fantastic author and so loved in the YA community. She’s definitely going to do Bruce Wayne’s origin justice. I’ve already pre-ordered my copy (just waiting on Wordery to dispatch) and I can’t wait to get my hands on it!

This cute story is my current read (Netgalley) and I’ve already ordered my Hardback. That there should show you just how much I am LOVING all these meaningful slivers of YA “meet-cutes”. If you don’t know what a Meet Cute is, then I can explain! In movies, books and television, a meet cute is a scene/moment when a future romantic couple meets for the first time. I first heard about the term when I was watching The Holiday, and Arthur explains it to Iris. I just think the term is so adorable and I love looking out for the meet cutes in novels. And THESE authors?! PURE MAGIC.

Nobody does fae better than Holly Black. I keep seeing The Cruel Prince everywhere and I’m so glad I managed to snag a Signed Copy on Waterstones the other day. It’s truly such a beautiful book and I can’t wait to delve into the story. If you’re a fan of Fae, dark tales and Fantasy (like me!), this is perfect for you. What’s better? It’s already out!

I can’t wait for Amazon to deliver my copy of Everless. I was supposed to get it today, but there must have been some kind of delay because I ordered it ages ago. I keep seeing it everywhere (like The Cruel Prince) and the plot just looks so unique and interesting. I’m loving both covers of it, but the white one has to be my favourite (the one that everyone pretty much has). If you’ve already had the chance to read this, I’m so jealous!

Another day, another deliciously dark novel. In The Hazel Wood, there’s a dark fairy-tale spin on Fantasy and I am SO. READY. FOR. IT. I know a few people who have already read it in advance and they loved it. I haven’t read anything quite like it in a while, so I definitely have grabby-book hands for it. I can’t wait for this one!
