PLAY IT AGAIN is a weekly recap here on Pretty Little Memoirs where I go over my top viewed reviews, favourite posts, music listened to and books I’ve received / bought!

“A magnetic, lively and thought-provoking (pun intended) novel from Sarah Mlynowski, and I can’t wait to read more with the second in the series!”
“If you’re looking for something exciting and a modern take on what lurks in the ocean, Deep Blue is going to be the book for you.”
“I seriously can’t recommend this series highly enough! If you’re a Fantasy book lover, whether your preference is YA or Adult, this series will satisfy your thirst.”

I’ve been looking forward to Kody’s new book for ages and I’m SO excited to read Jodi’s book that’s been compared to The Lovely Bones, but for Young Adults – which sounds pretty amazing if you ask me.
THANK YOU, Hachette!

We Were Liars is one of the most talked about YA books this year and I jumped in with the hype and got myself a copy. Apparently no one expects the ending, so I’m always thrilled to read unexpected endings and books that surprise me!
Also, THE WINNER’S CURSE – this book…I have heard so many great things about Marie’s writing, so I was over the moon to get a copy from Bloomsbury Childrens! YAY.
I loved Sophie at 23 Review Streets’ review of The A List Family this week. It looks like such a great book – a five-star worthy one at that.
Jamie at The Perpetual Page Turner also posted an amazing interview with John Green that was so lovely to read. I’m highly anticipating TFiOS so it was awesome to see some behind-the-scenes pictures and learn more about the film!
Of course I’ve been listening to my May Playlist non-stop when I’m reviewing and blogging, etc, so this week I’ve added my whole of May playlist because there literally isn’t a song on there that I don’t love right now. I’m especially in love with Lana Del Rey’s West Coast and Shades Of Cool, and Bastille’s No One’s Here To Sleep.
What have you been up to this week?

happy reading!

I just found your blog through Bloggers Commenting Back, and the first thing I noticed upon arriving was the new Jodi Lynn Anderson book. I freaked out a bit before realizing that it was just a foreign edition of what is called The Vanishing Season in the U.S. So that was a bit depressing, haha. I hope you like the book, though – I loved the author's previous book, Tiger Lily, so I'm incredibly excited to pick this one up.
Oh, and since this is my first time stopping by your blog, I should comment on how gorgeous your design is. I wish I had your skills!
*Sorry it's taken so long to reply! I have no idea how I missed your comment.
I haven't started Jodi's book yet but I've heard really great things! And thank you so much for the blog compliments! It means a lot to me 🙂
