hi loves! 🌸
I just got back from the most gloriously beautiful holiday to East Devon, nestled in an idyllic lodge on the edge of a seaside village by the Jurassic Coast ✨ it was truly like a Nancy Meyers movie (my favourite!) and we had an incredible time taking time to ourselves and enjoying time together chilling, exploring and of course reading! I began @emilyhenrywrites Happy Place whilst there and let me tell you: my heart has never been happier! What a stunning/emotional book 🥹 the setting was *chef’s kiss* because of our location, and I found myself settling in to *my* happy place with my comfort author 🥰 I took this picture at Bridport Harbour where we had chips and whippy ice cream and stared at the ocean that glistened icy blue like it was full of diamonds 💎 🌊 I do love being away but missed home terribly, so I’m now back into my routine after that massive post-holiday crash that felt like the worlds worst hangover crossed with being drained of life by some kind of energy-seeking vampire 😂 I have so many more pictures to share so do check out my story highlights! 🫶🏻 here’s to summer and so many memories 💛🌼

Quincy Walker is a hopeless romantic, so when she's kissed by a stranger in a dark theater, her rom-com obsessed imagination begins plotting the perfect movie-version ending to her senior year (which ends, like all great high school rom-coms, with the prom) 💜

My review is ⚡️live⚡️ on my blog (link in bio) but in short, I called it: a glorious, charming ode to growing up and owning the magic in the messiness of love and being human.

so this book . . . @lynnpainterkirkle has done it yet again 🥹 just when I thought I’d reached peak-fan after Better Than The Movies and Mr. Wrong Number, The Do-Over sweeps in and BAM! I’m in love 💝 I finished it in 48 hours (and at just after midnight on Valentine’s Day!!) and GAH 🫶🏻 I can’t describe just how much it made me smile and feel all the feels 💛 Lynn, you are my favourite always!! And those little Taylor Swift moments/lyrics . . . it made my heart happy 🤍
