Waiting On Wednesday: “The Beginning of Everything” by Robyn Schneider & “Where Beauty Lies” by Elle & Blair Fowler

“I decided to shake things up a little for this Waiting On Wednesday list! I decided to do a DOUBLE WOW list!”
– “Waiting On Wednesday” is a weekly meme hosted and created by Breaking The Spine that shines a spotlight on the upcoming releases individuals are waiting for! –
Yay for WoW lists! I saw so many amazing ones last week and I never realised just how much fun this was; putting my to-read list and knowing that there are so many people who love those books too. Book One is called “The Beginning of Everything” by Robyn Schneider, a book described as dazzling and something for the fans of John Green…so of course, I was enthralled! And, book Two on my Waiting On Wednesday is a different kind of novel. It’s by Beauty Vloggers; Elle & Blair Fowler, the sequel to “Beneath The Glitter”. I am most definitely waiting for this one!
Golden boy Ezra Faulkner believes everyone has a tragedy waiting for them—a single encounter after which everything that really matters will happen. His particular tragedy waited until he was primed to lose it all: in one spectacular night, a reckless driver shatters Ezra’s knee, his athletic career, and his social life.
No longer a front-runner for Homecoming King, Ezra finds himself at the table of misfits, where he encounters new girl Cassidy Thorpe. Cassidy is unlike anyone Ezra’s ever met, achingly effortless, fiercely intelligent, and determined to bring Ezra along on her endless adventures.
But as Ezra dives into his new studies, new friendships, and new love, he learns that some people, like books, are easy to misread. And now he must consider: if one’s singular tragedy has already hit and everything after it has mattered quite a bit, what happens when more misfortune strikes?
Robyn Schneider’s The Beginning of Everything is a lyrical, witty, and heart-wrenching novel about how difficult it is to play the part that people expect, and how new beginnings can stem from abrupt and tragic endings. (-Goodreads.com Description.)
Lastly, book 2…

The London sisters return in this charming new novel about love, friendship, and the perils of fame. Despite their very public arrest, Ava and Sophia London are about to discover that in L.A. there’s no such thing as bad press. Suddenly, they are the hottest “It” girls in town and are one step closer to making their brand, London Calling, a household name. Their newfound celebrity status takes them jet setting to New York City to expand their brand into fashion and home goods. Their first stop is fashion week, where they’re about to put on their inaugural fashion show…but not if their rivals have anything to say about it. The same unseen enemies responsible for framing them in L.A. are back – and determined to ruin the sisters for good this time. Can Ava and Sophia find out who’s trying to destroy them before it’s too late? (-Goodreads.com description.)

The Beginning Of Everything is due for publication on August 27th.
Where Beauty Lies is due for publication on August 13th.

So, I hope there is at least one book here you are adding to your to-read list, because I definitely will! As always PLEASE leave a comment telling me what you thought or what your Waiting On, and of course if you Follow, tell me and I would love to Follow back!

happy reading,
xo Becca
