Waiting on Wednesday: “Now and Forever” by Susane Colasanti

“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking The Spine, that shines a spotlight on upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.

What if your boyfriend was the world’s biggest rock star?
Sterling is crazy in love with Ethan. Not only is he the sweetest boy she’s ever met, but he’s an incredibly talented guitarist, singer, and songwriter. And since forever, he’s believed he has what it takes to be a star.
When Ethan becomes an overnight sensation, he’s thrown head-first into the glam world of celebrity—and so is Sterling. Before she knows it, she’s attending red-carpet premieres, getting free designer clothes, and flying around the country to attend Ethan’s monumental sold-out concerts.
It’s a dream come true…but whose dream is Sterling living? And what do you do when “forever” comes to an end?

Another perfect cover from one of my top favourite authors! How amazing does the synopsis sound? I love music-based books, especially when it’s a huge part of a YA story. My favourite so far of Susane’s books has definitely been Something Like Fate, which will always go down as one of my All-Time favourite reads (I stayed up all night reading it…).
I’m a huge fan of Susane’s novels (and have them all!) and literally can’t wait for this one! There is always some deeper meaning, with a feeling that leaves the book feeling fulfilled at the end, so I’m always in the mood for a book by Ms Colasanti. May cannot come soon enough for me.
Now and Forever is out May 20, 2014! So don’t forget to pick it up!
What about YOU? Are you looking forward to this?
Does it sound like your kind of book?
Leave me a comment! I love to talk books.
Happy reading,

  1. Ooh this does sound like a good one! I'm a musician myself (gosh how up myself does that sound D: anyhoo) so I'm always searching for the next YA that revolves around music as I can really connect with it and this sounds AWESOME. Brilliant Wow (and your blog is so pretty!)

  2. Thank you so much! I agree, I love music-based books, 'cause I make playlists for everything, and pretty much always have my headphones in 🙂
Thanks so much for stopping by, Zoë!

  3. I'm totally the same! I'm sometimes weary of books that are solely music-based, or too cheesy when mixed with high school romance, but Susane can do no wrong…she's an amazing author!
Thanks so much for stopping by, Kirsty-Marie! 🙂
