Waiting on Wednesday: “On The Fence” by Kasie West

“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking The Spine, that shines a spotlight on upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.

Title: On the Fence
Author: Kasie West
Release Date: July 1st, 2014
Published by: Harper TEEN

Genre: Young Adult – Contemporary/Romance

She’s a tomboy. He’s the boy next door…

Charlie Reynolds can outrun, outscore, and outwit every boy she knows. But when it comes to being a girl, Charlie doesn’t know the first thing about anything. So when she starts working at a chichi boutique to pay off a speeding ticket, she finds herself in a strange new world. To cope with the stress of her new reality, Charlie takes to spending nights chatting with her neighbor Braden through the fence between their yards.
As she grows to depend on their nightly Fence Chats, she realizes she’s got a bigger problem than speeding tickets-she’s falling for Braden. She knows what it means to go for the win, but if spilling her secret means losing him for good, the stakes just got too high.

Fun, original, and endearing, On the Fence is a romantic comedy about finding yourself and finding love where you least expect.

I adored Pivot Point and The Distance Between Us is on my must-read list for this year, so it’s only natural that I’ll be lining up with all of Kasie’s other book fans to get my hands on the beautiful On The Fence. The summary looks perfectly blended into the Contemporary Romance category that I’m a huge fan of, so I can’t wait for July.

Are you waiting on On The Fence, like me?

  1. I loved On the Fence. It definitely has a different vibe than The Distance Between Us but they're both so good. I love Kasie so much and her books 🙂 Great pick!
